Description
By: Heather Beamish
A starting and ending place. A safe haven. A space where striving and performing are nurtured into the complete acceptance of our individual, and then, collective humanity.
After years of pastoring in Evangelical churches, Heather reached a crossroad where she was forced to face her Queer identity. Caught between continuing to live a lie and having to leave the only place she had found belonging, she chose liberation. In this inspiring journey of loss and self-discovery, Heather weaves the cords of storytelling and poetry together to celebrate differences and speak boldly around the themes of empowerment, purpose, and identity.
So slow down and soak in the textured musings of a heart that has harnessed the power of self-love and patience. Savour the open call Heather makes to live into greater levels of freedom and vulnerability because ‘Homecoming’ is both an invitation and a road map home.
